  Dotti Ambis received her medical degree from SUNY at Buffalo in 1978 after receiving her B.A. in Chemistry from Ithaca College and her high school diploma from Pine Valley Central School in Western New York. She completed her residency in Family Practice at the University of Rochester Highland Hospital program in 1981. Dr. Dotti then served as the physician and medical director at the Groton Health Care Center and Residential Care Facility in Central New York for two years.

In 1983, she turned her full attention to home to raise and home school two
daughters until joining our staff as office manager and medical
consultant in 1995. She is a member of the
American Medical Association. Dotti lives
in Cayuga Heights with husband and
co-worker Dr. Edward Ambis, where they
share a full family life with their three dogs,
KC, Cloey, and Bo, and two cats, Pookie
and Prince. Dotti’s interests include music
and sports.
